Sebastian Florand (aka Fluffy) made small video presentation of new implementation of proxy in vrayc4d.

Summary:
- hierarchies are now supported
- precise drawing of polygons on the proxy object
- optimized drawing, with details adjustments and backface culling to keep everything snappy
- better Mograph handling (the generators now work instantly, even with a high number of clones)

QuickTime VR (virtual reality) (also known as QTVR) is a type of image file format supported by Apple's QuickTime.

It allows the creation and viewing of photographically captured panoramas and the exploration of objects through images taken at multiple viewing angles. It functions as a plugin for the standalone QuickTime Player, as well as working as a plugin for the QuickTime Web browser plugin. QuickTime VR will play on Windows computers as well as Apple Macintosh computers.

Buzzbox Group launched on they website a series of new VRAYforC4D architectural rendering tutorials, the first of which is now available in the tutorials section for free download (free registration required).

They kept things very simple with easy to understand instructions and keeping more or less to the defaults Vray gives, whilst retaining a high degree of photo quality rendering.
